A Day to Come Back to Yourself
"You don't need to go anywhere to find what you're looking for. You just need a day to remember it's already here."
We spend so much of our lives living above the neck — managing, planning, performing, scrolling. We become strangers to the quiet intelligence of our own bodies, the slow wisdom that lives below all the noise.
This retreat is an invitation to step off the treadmill for one full, unhurried day. Nestled beneath the Golden Gate Bridge at one of the Bay Area's most extraordinary properties, you'll be guided through a carefully sequenced day of practices designed to help you release what you've been carrying, reconnect with what matters, and return home to yourself — grounded, clear, and at ease.
You'll leave with tools, recipes, and practices you can take home with you. But more than that, you'll leave having remembered something you already knew.
the Day
8:30 am —Welcome
Settle in over a light breakfast using local ingredients prepared by the Cavallo Point team.
9:15 am — Grounding & Intention Setting
Josh and Amanda open the day together — leading a practice to connect as a group, and guiding you through an intention-setting session to identify what you're releasing and what you're calling in.
10:00 am — Break
Enjoy a delicious spread of snacks, specially curated by Amanda and prepared by the Cavallo Point kitchen.
10:30 am — Yoga Flow & Sound Bath
Beverly Jane Peatross — yoga instructor, sound healer, professional singer and musician— leads an immersive session that weaves a dynamic yoga flow into a deeply restorative sound bath. Expect something truly magical.
Noon — Reflection & Journaling
We reconvene as a group to reflect on the morning — through journaling, quiet integration, and open sharing for those called to do so.
12:30 — Lunch
A beautiful, unhurried lunch prepared by the Cavallo Point kitchen using local, sustainable ingredients — the centerpiece of the day's table. The grounds are yours to explore before the afternoon begins.
2:00 pm — Breathwork with Josh
A full breathwork journey to release what the body has been holding. You may cry. You may laugh. You will feel more like yourself. No experience necessary — only a willingness to show up.
3:45 pm — Eating for Resilience with Amanda
An interactive session on the connection between food, the nervous system, and how we feel day to day. You'll leave with practical tools to bring into your own kitchen.
4:45 pm — Closing Circle
We close the day together — sharing reflections, setting intentions for the days ahead, and saying goodbye. You'll leave feeling more grounded, clear, and carried by everything the day has given you. No reason to rush.
Comfortable, layered athleisure wear recommended throughout.
A full itinerary will be shared with guests prior to arrival.

Where We Gather
Cavallo Point, Marin County, California
Perched at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in the heart of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Cavallo Point is one of the most celebrated properties in California. With sweeping views of the Bay and the Bridge, acres of walking and hiking trails, and a culinary program rooted in local and sustainable ingredients, it is one of the few places in the world where luxury and nature exist in genuine conversation with each other.
The food at Cavallo Point — ingredient-driven, seasonal, deeply thoughtful — is a natural expression of everything Amanda teaches in her work. The setting is one Josh has long considered sacred ground for this kind of work. This is the place.

FAQ
Everything you need to know before you arrive — and if something's missing, we're always just an email away.
Do I need any prior experience with breathwork, yoga, or meditation? Not at all. This day is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. All you need is a willingness to show up and an open mind. Josh and Beverly Jane will guide you through everything.
Will the schedule change? The flow of the day may shift slightly, but all of the sessions listed will take place. A full, detailed itinerary will be sent to all registered guests prior to arrival.
What food is included? A light seasonal breakfast on arrival, snacks during the mid-morning break, and a beautiful, substantial lunch — all prepared by the Cavallo Point kitchen using local, sustainable ingredients and curated in the spirit of Amanda's anti-inflammatory approach to eating.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? Yes. Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of registration and we will do our best to accommodate you. Cavallo Point's kitchen is experienced in preparing for a wide range of dietary needs.
Where exactly is Cavallo Point? Cavallo Point is located at 601 Murray Circle, Fort Baker, Sausalito, CA 94965 — just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, about 20 minutes from San Francisco.
What should I wear? Comfortable, layered athleisure wear. You'll be moving, lying down, sitting, and spending time outdoors, so dress for all of the above. We recommend bringing a light layer as Marin mornings can be cool.
Is the breathwork session intense? Breathwork can bring up strong emotions and physical sensations — that's part of its power. Josh creates an extremely safe, supportive container and will guide you through the entire experience. Many people describe it as one of the most profound things they've ever done. You are always in control of your own experience.
Are there any health conditions that might affect my participation? If you have a history of cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, severe anxiety, pregnancy, or certain other conditions, please consult your doctor before participating in breathwork. We will provide a full health and preparation guide prior to the retreat.
How do I register? Click any "Reserve My Spot" button on this page to secure your place. Spots are first come, first served.
When does registration open to the public? House of Haas VIPs have priority access through May 15th. General registration opens May 15th.

I have a question that isn't answered here. Who do I contact? Reach out to us directly at [email protected] and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.
